Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your KLM account at any time, from inside the app or by writing to us. This page explains exactly how, what is erased, and the records we are legally required to retain.

Last updated 5 September 2026

Deletion is permanent

Deleting your account cannot be undone. Once the erasure window has passed, we cannot restore your products, invoices, ledgers or reports — not for you, and not for anyone else. Export anything you need first.

Delete from inside the app

  1. 1Open the KLM app and sign in.
  2. 2Go to Settings.
  3. 3Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  4. 4Confirm your password when prompted. If you signed up with Google or Apple, confirm with that provider instead.
  5. 5Tap to confirm. Your account is deactivated immediately and you are signed out on every device.

Delete by email

If you cannot sign in — a lost device, a phone number you no longer use — email klmpcenterprises@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my account”, from the email address registered on the account, and include your registered email address and store name.

We will verify that the request is genuinely yours before acting on it. Expect a confirmation within 7 days and completion within 30 days of verification. We do not charge for this.

What happens, and when

WhenWhat happens
ImmediatelyYour account is deactivated. You are signed out on every device, sessions are revoked, and nobody can sign in to it again.
ImmediatelyAuto-renewal on any active subscription stops. No further charges are made. Fees already paid are not refunded — see the Refund Policy.
Within 30 daysYour personal data and the store data you own are permanently erased from our production systems.
Within 90 daysResidual copies age out of encrypted backups. Backups are not queried in normal operation and are never used to reconstruct a deleted account.

What gets erased

  • Your profile: name, email address, phone number, profile photo, region and password hash.
  • Your linked Google and Apple sign-in identifiers.
  • Your stores, and their catalogue: products, images, SKUs, categories, units and pricing.
  • Inventory and trade records: stock levels, stock and price logs, purchase orders, vendors, expenses, losses, imports and transfers.
  • Customer records you created: names, phone numbers, GST numbers, wallets and khata ledgers.
  • Employee links and permission grants for your stores.
  • Device push notification tokens.
  • Support tickets and their attachments.

What we must keep, and why

Indian law requires us to retain some records even after you leave. We keep only these, we stop using them for any other purpose, and we restrict access to them.

Tax invoices we issued to you for your subscription, and the corresponding payment records8 yearsSection 128 of the Companies Act, 2013 and income-tax record-keeping requirements

Where the underlying record does not need to identify you, we anonymise it instead of keeping it linked to your identity.

If you own a store

Deleting your account deletes the stores you own, along with their data. Before you do:

  • Your employees lose access to that store immediately. Tell them first.
  • If you want the business to continue without you, transfer ownership to another user before deleting — write to klmpcenterprises@gmail.com and we will help.
  • Your customers’ records inside your store are erased along with it. If you are required to keep any of them for your own tax or accounting purposes, export them first — that obligation is yours, not ours.

If you are an employee

Deleting your account removes your personal profile and revokes your access to every store you were added to. It does not delete the store’s records — invoices you billed remain in the owner’s books, because those are the store’s business records rather than your personal data. Your name is removed from the store’s employee list.

Export your data first

Before deleting, use the app to export or share what you need — GST reports, transaction lists and receipts can all be shared as PDFs from their respective screens. If you want a fuller export, email klmpcenterprises@gmail.com before you delete and we will provide a machine-readable copy of your store data at no charge.
